Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian Reviews Preparations for STP Project Inauguration
Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to Inaugurate the Project on Monday
SAS Nagar, July 6: Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management and Water Supply and Sanitation, Departments Hardeep Singh Mundian today reviewed the ongoing preparations for the inauguration of the state-of-the-art 15 Million Gallons per Day (MGD) Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Sector 83, Mohali.The plant will be formally inaugurated on Monday afternoon by Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener, Sh. Arvind Kejriwal.During the visit, the Minister was briefed in detail about the project’s progress and key features by ACA GMADA Amrinder Singh Malhi, Superintending Engineer (Horticulture Wing) Gurjeet Singh and Executive Engineer Himanshu.He added that this project is a major step forward in addressing urban waste management and promoting circular use of water resources in Mohali.
