Additional Deputy Commissioner conducts surprise inspection of sub-registrar office Ferozepur

Ferozepur, February 24: In line with the Punjab Government’s zero tolerance policy against corruption and following the directions of Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Deepshikha Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nidhi Kumud Bambah conducted surprise visit to the Sub-Registrar office Ferozepur. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Registrar office staff that the state government has adopted a zero tolerance policy against corruption to ensure a transparent administrative framework, asserting that strict action would be taken against any official found demanding bribes from people in exchange for government services. During the inspection, the Additional Deputy Commissioner interacted with individuals who had come to register their land deeds. She collected feedback about the Sub-Registrar office and its employees, gathered details about their experiences with the Registrar office and sought suggestions for improvements. Dr. Nidhi Kumud Bambah said that people visiting the Sub-Registrar office expressed satisfaction, stating that they faced no difficulties in registry-related work and that registrations were proceeding smoothly without any delays or corruption. She directed that all registrations should be completed in a time-bound manner. She instructed the Registrar office staff to assist visitors in completing their work without any inconvenience, ensuring that people don’t face any difficulties in getting their work done. SDM Ferozepur Divya P.V. was also present during the inspection.
