Bhubneshwar, May 30, 2025: CBI has arrested Enforcement Deputy Director Chintan Raghuvanshi on charges of taking bribe. Raghuvanshi, a 2013-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, was arrested by the CBI while allegedly accepting ₹20 lakh as the first installment of a ₹50 lakh bribery deal. The bribe was reportedly demanded from Ratikant Rout (Julu), a Dhenkanal-based mining businessman, following ED raids on 14 locations linked to his company on January 8, 2025.CBI has arrested Enforcement Deputy Director Chintan Raghuvanshi on charges of taking bribe.
