{"id":14846,"date":"2025-04-03T17:56:29","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T12:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.udaypunjab.com\/?p=14846"},"modified":"2025-04-03T17:56:29","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T12:26:29","slug":"entrepreneurship-awareness-program-held-at-sbs-university-campus-ferozepur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.udaypunjab.com\/?p=14846","title":{"rendered":"Entrepreneurship Awareness Program\u00a0held\u00a0at\u00a0SBS University Campus,\u00a0Ferozepur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jaswinder Singh Sandhu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firozepur, 3 Aprail-SBS State University, Ferozepur has organized Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme ,under the able guidance of honorable Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Susheel <wbr \/>Mittal,\u00a0to\u00a0motivate\u00a0the students for adaptation of self employment activity\u00a0.This program was\u00a0organized by\u00a0MSME Development &amp; Facilitation Office (DFO)\u00a0Ludhiana\u00a0in association with\u00a0SBS State University,\u00a0Ferozepur.\u00a0MSME\u00a0is working\u00a0for the development of existing and potential micro, small and medium enterprises in the State of Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh.\u00a0During this\u00a0programme\u00a0the participants\u00a0gained knowledge\u00a0about the various initiatives taken by the Ministry of MSME, DIC, Government of Punjab, PSRLM, RSETI, Banks\/Financial Institutions\u00a0and other departments for entrepreneurship development in MSME sector\u00a0thereby motivating them for self-employment and setting up their own enterprise.Around 200 students of\u00a0B.Tech,\/BCA\/MCA courses took advantage of this program. On this occasion\u00a0Mr\u00a0WazirSingh,\u00a0Asst Director, MSME enlightened the students about various government schemes\u00a0that they can avail to start a small scale industry. In addition,\u00a0Manager of Lead Bank,\u00a0Ms\u00a0GeetaMehta also\u00a0highlighted\u00a0about the ways how one can\u00a0avail\u00a0loanfacilities\u00a0from banks\u00a0to start\u00a0a small scale business. On this occasion,\u00a0Mr\u00a0Preet\u00a0Gill from\u00a0Distt\u00a0Industries\u00a0Center,\u00a0<wbr \/>Ferozepur, was also present.\u00a0He also encouraged the student to become an entrepreneur and highlighted the various areas in which they can start their own industry at small scale level.Dr.\u00a0GazalPreet\u00a0Arneja- Registrar\u00a0of\u00a0University-congra<wbr \/>tulated and\u00a0appreciated the\u00a0team of Carrier\u00a0Development\u00a0Cell under the leadership of Dr\u00a0Tejeet\u00a0Singh. He appreciated the hard efforts made by Co-cordinators\u00a0:\u00a0Mr\u00a0Inderjeet\u00a0<wbr \/>Singh Gill &amp;\u00a0Mr\u00a0RiteshUppal\u00a0for organizing such wonderful\u00a0event\u00a0that\u00a0enlighten<wbr \/>ed the mind of students to be an\u00a0entrepreneur.
